뉴메탈이라는 칭송을 받으며 활동하고 있는 밴드이다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

이 밴드를 어떻게 접하게 되었는지 기억은 나지 않지만, 어쨌거나 한곡을 듣고 Feel ~ 이 왔다.

그리고, 앨범을 찾기 시작했다.

 

그리고, 그들의 음악을 주구장창 듣고 있다.

 

장르는 스래쉬는 스래쉬같은대, 랩메탈 스러우면서도 판테라의 느낌도 나는것 같기도 하고,

보컬의 랩이 참 찰진것이 매력이 넘치는 밴드가 아닌가 싶고,

요즘 밴드들에 대해서 관심이 없다보니, 이 밴드 DISTURBED의 앨범이

메탈리카처럼 빌보드 앨범차트 1위를 연속 4회나 한 잘나가는 밴드라는 것을 이제야 알았다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DISTURBED의 마스코는 THE GUY라고 한다는대.

약간 만화 캐릭터같기도 하고, 묘한 매력을 주면서도 강한 인상을 심어주기에는 충분하단 생각이 든다.

시대가 시대인 만큼 빌보드 앨범차트 1위를 하였다고는 하지만,

앨범판매량은 과거랑 비교하면 그다지 많은것은 아니지만, 요즘 같은 시대에

그만큼 앨범을 사고 싶게 만들었다라는 것은 충분히 인정해야 할 부분이 아닌가 싶기도 하다.

 

갑자기 DISTURBED의 앨범을 막 소장하고 싶어져서

인터넷을 뒤져봐도 전 앨범을 쉽게 얻기는 어려운 상황이라 중고로도 입수해야 하는 분위기 같다.

정말이지 간만에 느낌오는 밴드 DISTURBED

 

가끔씩은 요즘 밴드들에 대해서도 관심을 가져야 겠다는 생각이 들기도 하다.

언제까지 80년대 음악에만 멈춰 있을수는 없으니 말이다.

 

 

 

 

 

간만에 만난 젊은? 밴드 DISTURED
