ABSU(압수)

 

이름이 참 짧고 간결해서 좋은 밴드

개뿔 블랙메탈에 대해서 알지도 못하면서, 앨범 쟈켓보고 그냥 구매했던 밴드.

 

그래서 본의 아니게 1, 2집을 소장하고 3집도 소장했었으나 팔아묵고, 후회하고 있는 그런밴드다.

최근? 2000년대 말 앨범을 들으니 좀 더 나에게 익숙하게 다가온 ABSU는 시간이 지날수록

나같은 블랙메탈을 아주 좋아하지 않는 사람에게도 적응이 되는 밴드라 할 수 있겠다.

총 7개 곡으로 구성된 앨범으로 앨범에 수록된 곡은 그리 많은 편은 아니다.

어떠한 밴드든지 1집 앨범이란 그 의미가 아주 ~ 크다 할 수 있기에 꼭 들어야만 할 필수 앨범이라 할 수 있겠는데.

 

미국출신의 블랙메탈 밴드 ABSU는 미국출신이라는 점이 특이한대.

보통은 블랙메탈이라고 하면, 북유럽출신들이 많은거 같던대.

미국출신이라는 점이 좀 독특하다.

 

역시나 블랙메탈이라는 장르여서 고음의 빠른 연주가 눈에 띄는대.

요즘은 이상하게 옛날 80년대 락밴드의 음악이나 전혀 반대되는 요런 빠른 블랙메탈도 끌리고 있다.

그래서, 생각나는 밴드들의 앨범들을 소개해 보고자 한다.

 

첫번째로 스팰링도 A로 시작하니 ABSU가 딱 제격이 아닐까 싶긴 한대.

취향이 맞지 않을 경우에는 어찌 할 수 없음으로 이러한 장르도 있다라고 생각하면 좋을것 같다.
