뉴메탈 밴드 Disturbed의 앨범을 듣다가 필이 딱 꽂힌 곡이 있었으니...

Land Of Confusion

예전 음악들만 듣다가 그나마 가장 최신 밴드의 음악중에서 필이 딱 꽂혀버린...

마음에 들어버린 밴드가 아닌가 ..... 싶다.

그래서 듣게 된 앨범 수록곡중에서도 특히 귀에 때려 박히는 곡이 있었으니...

Land Of Confusion. 이 곡은 커버곡으로 표시가 되어 있었다.

설마 그러하지는 않겠지? 라는 기대를 해보면서....

Land of Confusion - Genesis

원곡의 주인공은 필콜린스 형아가 활동하는 Genesis 였다.

앨범은 1986년에 발매된 앨범이었으니... 역시 80년대곡이다.

Genesis의 Land Of Confusion은 애니메이션이 아닌 인형들로 만들어진 뮤직비디오다.

베스트 컨셉트 뮤직비디오로 그래미상을 받았나 보다.

뮤직비디오에 출연하는 인형들은 왠지... 외계인 알프를 닮은 느낌이다.

고양이를 잡아 먹겠다고.... "너는 식빵이다" 라고 고양이한테 주문을 걸던 알프.

그 친구들 같은 느낌을 주는 뮤직비디오 인형들이다.

블레이드의 Confusion 처럼 원곡과 리믹스곡이 완전 다르진 않다.

비슷한 느낌의 신나는 곡이다.

제네시스 음악중에서 이런곡도 있었다는걸 이제서야 알게 되었다.

내가 제대로 제네시스를 몰랐었나 보다.

그냥 필 콜린스 아재의 음악에 대한 생각만 가지고 있었던 것 같다.

Land of Confusion - In Flames

찾아보니 In Flames의 Land of Confusion도 있더라는 거.........

역시 원곡이 좋으니, 누가해도 좋은 느낌이다.
