케니 로저스(Kenny Rogers)
1938년 8월 21일생
1967년 [퍼스트 에디션] 멤버로 'The First Ediciton' 앨범으로 데뷔 하였습니다.
컨트리 뮤직 가수로써 1979년 아메리칸 뮤직 어워드 인기앨범상을 수상하였습니다.
1983년에은 아카데미 컨트리 뮤직 어워드 올해의 노래상, 최우수 보컬 듀엣상을 수상하기도 하였죠.
미국에서 컨트리 음악이라는 장르가 무시하지 못할 인기를 가지고 있는 장르라는 점에서
우리 케니로저스 아저씨의 인기를 추측해 볼 수 있겠는데여.
사실 케니 로저스하면 90년대 잠깐 진출했던
케니 로저스 치킨이 생각이 납니다. ^^
명동에 개점 했다가 오래 못가고 문을 닫았는대.
지금 생각해 보면 웰빙 음식이었던것 같은대... 우리의 짠 입맛과
자극적인 부분이 당시의 정서와는 맞지 않았었나 생각도 해봅니다.
아... 왠지 케니 로저스 치킨 다시 먹어보고 싶다는 생각이 드는군여.
